In the fall each year, the International Festival, the Fringe Festival, the Edinburgh Book Festival, and the Jazz Festival are just a few of the festivals that make the city come alive and in the winter they have the month long Christmas and Hogmanay celebrations. The many hotels in Edinburgh offer you anything from the rustic back country setting to the regal and pristine setting. There are also many tours available to the public. There are ghost tours, castle tours, literary tours, coach tours, motorcycle tours, and even a river cruise. With the great number of castles to tour, a person could spend days and not tour them all, the most famous being the Edinburgh Castle.
